HTF Abrasive Pressure Calculator

Productive orbital floor sanding requires the right amount of force (pressure) to be applied to the abrasive so that it sands at its most efficient in relation to the size of abrasive grit. Typically more pressure is required the coarser the abrasive grit.

The HTF's design applies the ideal pressure across the whole surface area of the abrasive. For all types of wood floors and decking.

Note: Typically the weight of an 18" x 12" orbital floor sander is centred around the middle of the machine in-line with the motor and not evenly distributed over the whole of the sanding pad.

The HTF can apply up to nearly 41/2 times the force (pressure) to the abrasive than a typical 18" x 12" orbital floor sander.

Hiretech Product Warranty

Hiretech warrants to the original purchaser that the Hiretech machine, spare part or consumable (Product) covered by this Warranty is free from defects in workmanship and materials as follows;

Steam Wallpaper Strippers 		 2 years Machines must have been operated and maintained in accordance with Owners Manual & Operating Instructions and for the purpose for which they have been designed for.
Spare Parts & Tools All spare parts and workshop tools for Hiretech machines. Hiretech hand tools. 1 year

No warranty is given for spare parts incorrectly fitted or fitted to machines where the condition of the machine or other parts would cause failure of the spare part fitted.

No warranty is given for spare parts, workshop tools or hand tools not fitted to Hiretech machines or not used for the purpose for which they have been designed for.
Consumables Hiretech floor sander abrasives and disposable paper dust bags. 6 months The product must be in its original unopened packaging or kept in its original packaging in accordance with any instructions given or available on Hiretech web sites.

 

Should any Product fail in the Warranty Period from the date of the original purchase as a result of a defect, Hiretech will (at it's option) either repair or replace the Product without charge provided that the Product has been operated or used in accordance with the Terms.

Should any such defect arise, please contact Hiretech or your nearest authorised repair agent. The Warranty is 'Return to Base' . The customer must return the Product to Hiretech or an authorised repair agent at the customers cost. Standard service over land mainland freight costs may be refunded on warranty repairs/replacement at the sole discretion of Hiretech or the authorised repair agent. If the Product is not covered under the Warranty the customer will be advised before any action is taken.

This Warranty is the sole warranty by Hiretech and is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied and releases Hiretech from all other obligations and liabilities.

This Warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear to the Product , and in particular does not cover normal wear parts such as mains cable, wheels, switches, relays, brushes, rubber parts, hoses, bearings and consumables. This warranty also does not cover, and Hiretech will not be liable for, excessive wear caused by abnormal use.

Hiretech will under no circumstances be liable for alterations to the machine or for damage caused by third persons, or for misuse or abuse of the Product, or damage caused during transportation. Repairs of the Product made or attempted by persons other than those specifically authorised by Hiretech shall render this Warranty void and Hiretech will not be liable for such repairs, the cost of such repairs, or the consequences of such repairs. Where spare parts not purchased from Hiretech are used on a Product and they do not conform to Hiretech specifications, this Warranty will be rendered void and Hiretech will not be liable.

Hiretech will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatever and however caused whether arising under contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise including (without limitation) loss of production, loss of profits or contracts or of operating time or goodwill or anticipated savings.
